Michelle and Jameson celebrated their wedding at the Longue Vue Club in Verona, one of my favorite venues in Pittsburgh. They really used everything the club has to offer, like beautiful spaces to get ready in, the stunning property and the bright reception space. The guys were even able to get in a quick golf game in the morning.
Their ceremony was a short drive away at Saint Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland. It was a nice sunny day and the light bounced around the church happily. While in Oakland we stopped at the Mellon Institute for a few photos. I shoot at the Mellon Institute a lot, but it never gets old. The architecture is timeless and romanic. It made it a perfect spot for a passionate couple like Michelle and Jamie to take portraits. And they nailed it.
Back at Longue Vue we took full advantage of all the old stone and the gorgeous overlook on the hill. At the overlook the sun was reflecting off the river below and the whole scene glowed. I wish I had hours to photograph them there!
Their reception space decor continued the classic, romantic feel. They chose a gold, white, black and green color palette to achieve it and it worked perfectly. The candles here and there added a nice warmth.
The night concluded with a fun sparkler exit with their bridal party. It was an absolutely amazing day, sealed with a kiss.
